Edward was so overwhelmed by his need for dough that he found himself kneading dough to the point of fragrantly neglecting his own person®
I started my obsession in the ’80s with trying to make the perfect sourdough bread. I choose sourdough because I love the crunchy crust and the remarkably soft inside. Since then, I have attempted to perfect my skills with other bread, pastries, cookies, pies, granola, and now some wheat-free. During this period, I’ve shared my experiments with recipes and baking techniques with family and friends, asking for their opinions.
I now feel several of my products are now perfect and ready for you to enjoy. I use ingredients without additives and increase flavors with natural, nutritional additions like oat bran, wheat germ, and wheat bran in some of my loaves. My granola is sweetened with real Maine maple syrup and crispened with olive oil, riddled with goodness by adding raw seeds like pumpkin and sunflower, figs, prunes, and pecans, almonds, craisins, and raisins.
Some of my family now needs to be wheat-free, so I’ve dived into learning the techniques for using wheat-free flours. I’ve created some goodies that you will find it hard to tell that they do not have wheat flour in them.
I create every item in an artisan way. Meaning every recipe is made in small batches, which allows for the best flavor possible.
Please bear with me as I start this new venture. Right now, I can offer baked goods. Pickles, fruit-butters, and sauces should be available this fall. I also will be offering different ways you can order products and locations for pick up. I’m working on this Website and will have the full site up as quickly as possible. Meanwhile, feel free to contact me to place your order or with any questions.
I look forward to sharing my foodstuffs with you!
Sincerely, Scott Edward Rowley
