Main Street Bucksport (MSB) has received a $2,300 grant from the Hancock County Fund of the Maine Community Foundation to offer free workshops and classes for children and adults during the 3rd annual Bucksport Arts Festival, scheduled for Saturday, August 12 on the Bucksport waterfront.
“The Bucksport Arts Festival has become a wonderful annual event that brings thousands of people to downtown Bucksport and we wanted to add a free educational component to the festival so there’s something for everyone,” says Brook Minner, the Executive Director of Main Street Bucksport. “It’s going to be a wonderful day!”
Main Street Bucksport was founded in 2014 with a mission to promote a vibrant downtown Bucksport by supporting existing businesses, attract new businesses, and supporting cultural arts events.
